A new breakfast
At breakfast, it's important to get some complex carbs, some protein, and a little fat as your metabolism is waking up and your stomach is low on food. I decided to give a suggestion from Bob's new book a try. It turned out well.
1 piece of whole grain bread, toasted
1 T almond butter (real almond butter--no sugar or other additives; I love Kettle brand)
1 half of an organic apple, sliced
1 tsp. of organic honey drizzled on top
Verdict: Very tasty. Kept me satisfied past 1 p.m.
